Communication Center - How to send an in-app notification or message

You can send notifications if you are logged in to the App as an admin or if you are logged in to the CMS.

HOW TO SEND A PUSH NOTIFICATION ON CMS

  • Click the “Communication Center” tab on the top right hand side of the CMS
  • Click “App Messaging” or “App Messaging”
  • Click the “Send Notification” tab on the left hand side
  • Compose your message and select the User type that you would like to receive the notification (if applicable)
  • Click “Send Now”

HOW TO SEND A NOTIFICATION ON THE APP

  • Make sure that you are logged in using the same credentials that you use for the CMS
  • Click the “More” Icon or the Three Line Icon on the top left corner
  • Click “Communication Center” towards the bottom of the menu
  • Enter the PIN. The default PIN is 1234
  • Click “Send Notification” or “Send Message”
  • Compose your message and select the User type that you would like to receive the notification (if applicable)
  • Click “Send Now”

HOW TO CHANGE THE PIN

  • Log in the the CMS
  • Click “Menus”
  • Click the wheel icon next to the “Communication Center” Icon
  • You’ll see an option for “Enable Pin Protection”. Keep that checked “Yes”
  • Change the PIN below that option
  • Click Save Changes
